About Us
Theater Connection is an integrated dance-and-theater experience offered in both fall and spring, This program is designed to guide students through the theatrical process, enabling students to grow and discover new talents. Each session concludes with a staged production.
Mission
MDA's Theater Connection is dedicated to the belief that theatre training promotes self-esteem, builds confidence, stimulates creativity, sharpens communication skills, fosters an appreciation of team work, raises cultural awareness, celebrates diversity, encourages respect for self and others and lays the foundation for a lifelong love of the arts. The study of theatre not only trains students to be better performers, it inspires them to be better people.

Overview
MDA’s Theater Connection is proud to present MdaVision! Inspired by Marvel’s hit show WandaVision, available on Disney Plus, MdaVision will take performers through the decades of movies and TV shows! Our show will open in the 50’s and conclude with material current to today! This production will feature students dancing, singing, acting, and more as they showcase their talent and versatility... ON LOCATION! That’s right. Performances will be videoed in different locations… the park, the gazebo, the lake, and more! (Don’t worry, we won’t stray too far from the studio!) Performers will cultivate solo & ensemble performance skills, acting technique, character development, theatricality, vocal direction, and choreography in a safe, socially distanced environment.
