Modern classes utilize a full bodied warm-up with an emphasis on skeletal alignment.  The goal is to find strength in the core muscles while allowing a sense of ease in the joints and limbs.  As the class progresses students will be encouraged to dance intelligently and efficiently while playing with the concepts of weight, tone, architecture, and abandonment.
